39 Golds for DSA Swimming clubs at SportExcel Meets
The 2nd leg of the SportExcel / Milo / NSC / MAS Swimming Circuit for the Central Region was held at the National Aquatic Centre, Bukit Jalil on 1-3 August 2025. DSA Swimming Clubs participated in the Meet with a large team of 225 swimmers. The swimmers had a great finish at the Meet with an overwhelming 17 new Meet records and 35 Golds at the Meet with DSA Swimming Club gaining the First Runner Up position.
The stars of the Meet included Shannon Tan Yan Qing who won 7 Golds also created 4 new Meet Records in her events in Group 2. Wong Shi Qi from the Open category created 3 Meet Records in her events while Charlotte Loke, Lee Yen Yi, Jerriel Lau and Joseph Chan Kai Xiang added 2 Golds each to the team. Jerriel Lau created 2 Meet Records while Charlotte Loke, Lee Yen Yi, Joseph Chan Kai Xiang and Cham Yu Xiang created 1 Meet Record each in the Open category. Lewis Mu Zi Long from Group 3 also created 3 Meet Records along with winning 4 Golds in his events while Mellissa Nailly Darwin created a new Meet Record in Group 1.
Other Gold winners were Vitus So Teng Hoe, Ryan Ee Tian Aymes, Anabelle Kong Shu Li, Olivia Seow Cui Ying who all added 2 Golds each to the team tally while Mellissa Nailly Darwin, Yap Ke Hui, Max Lim Jia Jun and Wah Hao Ran added a Gold each. Other podium winners included Analey Yap Cai Li, Ong Zhi Kheam, Jiwoo Jung, Mohamad Akash Rifqi, Foo Qi Wei, Sunny Quan Shu Xian, Lee Xin Tung, Tai Sze Wei, Itto Horiuchi, Alynna Yong Zhang Ya, Noma Horiuchi, Henri James Johan Keeton and Anna Maglai.
The 2nd leg of the SportExcel / Milo / NSC / MAS Swimming Circuit for the Northen Region was held at the Kompleks Sukan MBPP Relau, Pulau Pinang on 2-3 August 2025.
A total of 16 swimmers from the DSA Swimming Club Penang participated in the Meet and won a total of 16 medals which included 4 Golds. Lee Ruo Faye from Group 1 won 3 Golds in her events while Gabriel Lee Jin added another Gold to the team tally. Garrel Lee Xuan, Jason Tan BoYun and Lim Eu Ning were the other swimmers who finished with a podium finish and added their precious contributions to the team tally.
