DSA Swimming Clubs finish year with strong podium finish


DSAS wins First Runner-Up Position at President Cup Meet

42nd National Inter-Club Swimming Championships for the President’s Cup 2025

DSA Swimming Clubs wrapped up the competitive swimming calendar for 2025 with an impressive performance at the 42nd National Inter-Club Swimming Championship, held from 19th to 21st December 2025 at the Pusat Akuatik Negeri Kedah, Alor Setar. Competing against some of the best swim clubs in the country, DSA once again demonstrated depth, consistency, and competitive excellence at the national level.

With a contingent of 99 swimmers, DSA Swimming Clubs delivered outstanding performances across age groups and events, competing with over 50 swimming clubs from across the country. DSAS Swimming Club took top honours, finishing the championship as overall First Runner-Up, while DSA Swimming Club finished in fourth position. DSA swimmers brought home a total of 39 medals which included 10 Golds. The star swimmer for DSA was young Noma Horiuchi in Group 4 who won a total of 6 Golds in her events with a personal best in 100m Back stroke. Alysha Aryana Mohd Khairul Azli also from Group 4 won 2 Golds while Calvin Lee Shin Rong and Yap Zhen Yi won a Gold each in their events.

Other DSA swimmers who ad podium finishes included Yap Ke Hui, Gareth Goh, Liew Yu Shan, Tan Boyun, Alynna Yong Zhang Ya, Itto Horiuchi, Tan Yew Quan, Henri James Johan Keeton, Braydon Ang, Ibrahim Mukhlis Hadaffi Hanif and Zuhayra Adn binti Zulkifli.

In the Relay events, both DSA and DSAS Swimming Clubs excelled with both teams winning Gold in their events for Group 2 and Group 4 while taking Silver and Bronze for other Groups. A detailed view of the medal tally and the full results can be downloaded from the links below.
