113 Medals Won Across the Northern and Central Zones
The MAS/MILO All-Stars Swimming Circuit Leg 2, 2026 saw DSA Swimming Club compete on two fronts in the second week of July, with swimmers in Northern Zone in Penang and the Central Zone in Selangor. A combined total of 259 swimmers from DSA took part across both legs, returning home with an outstanding collective haul of 113 medals which included 28 Golds. It was a powerful showing of depth and ambition that bodes extremely well for the season ahead.
Northern Zone — Kompleks Sukan Bandaraya Relau, Penang (11–12 July 2026)
At the Kompleks Sukan Bandaraya Relau in Penang, 32 DSA swimmers competed and returned with a solid 32 medals, 6 Golds, 13 Silvers, and 13 Bronzes.
In Group 1, Lew Jia Ming was the standout performer, claiming a brilliant 3 Golds in the Boys 16-18 200m IM, 50m Backstroke, and 100m Backstroke. Aryan Jayden Brattinga was equally electric, winning 2 Golds in the 50m Butterfly and 50m Freestyle, adding Silver in the 100m Freestyle. Ivan Choong Hao Wen and Hoo Jean Yee added more medals to the tally.<
In Group 2, Muhammad Imran Bin Mohd Ikmal was the pick of the squad, claiming 1 Gold in with other podium finishes while Naomi Tan Huai Yue contributed a Bronze.
In Group 3, Boaz Tan Dan was consistent and competitive, earning Silver in both the 50m Backstroke and 50m Freestyle. In Group 4, Lim Eu Ning put in a truly remarkable multi-event performance, claiming 5 Silvers and 4 Bronzes across multiple events, an incredible nine-event podium haul. Tan Cher Rell was equally prolific, earning 6 medals in her events. Caden Lau Park Yoi rounded off Group 4’s contributions with a Bronze in the 50m Backstroke.
Central Zone — Pusat Akuatik Darul Ehsan, Selangor (10–12 July 2026)
At the Pusat Akuatik Darul Ehsan in Selangor, an impressive 227 DSA swimmers took to the pool against state-level competition from across Central Malaysia, amassing 81 medals with 22 Golds, 29 Silvers, and 30 Bronzes, a win that reflects both the scale of the contingent and the quality of the performances.
In the Open category, Cham Yu Xiang was the dominant force, sweeping to 3 Golds in the Boys 100m Breaststroke, 200m IM, and 200m Breaststroke, adding Silver in the 50m Breaststroke. Jayden Yap Ee Jen claimed 1 Gold in the Boys 400m Freestyle. Among the girls, Georgene Wee Ee Jern was outstanding with 1 Gold in the 200m IM and Silver finishes in the 400m IM and 400m Freestyle. Jerriel Lau added 1 Gold in the 100m Butterfly alongside Silver in the 100m Freestyle and 50m Butterfly. Kam Yao Qi Samuel and Julian Lee earned Silver and Bronze respectively in the boys’ events.
In Group 1, Max Lim Jia Jun took Gold in the 50m Breaststroke and Ian Tan Zhi Kai and Annis Hiew Xin Ting added a Gold each in their events. Kaelyn Chee Wei Yi, Ethan Chua Min Han, Evan Chua Min Hao, Jacob Tsen Ze Yu, Javan Pun Jin Wen, and Sebastien Rion Azlir added their podium wins to add to the team tally.
In Group 2, the girls’ contingent was led brilliantly by Liew Yu Shan, who swept to a stunning 6 Golds across the 200m Backstroke, 100m Freestyle, 50m Backstroke, 400m Freestyle, 200m IM, and 100m Backstroke. Olivia Seow Cui Ying was equally impressive with 1 Gold in the 200m Freestyle alongside multiple Silver and Bronze finishes. Lee Xin Tung and Simone Madeleine Azlir added Silver and Bronze respectively in the Butterfly events. Among the boys, Ong Zhi Kheam claimed 1 Gold in the 400m IM and was prolific in distance and IM events, while Koh Jun Ming Jamie and Muhamad Akash Rifqi contributed multiple Silver medals. Samuel Eng Yeung Shane added Bronze in the 50m Freestyle.
In Group 3, Alynna Yong Zhang Ya led the girls with 2 Golds while Alysha Aryana Binti Mohd Khairul Azli and Raeka Ong won 1 Gold each in their events. Among the boys, Tee Him was prolific across six distance and IM events, while. Henri James Johan Keeton and Sean Yep Zhen Him added further Bronze medals.
In Group 4, Aiden Zarief claimed 1 Gold in the 200m Freestyle alongside three Bronze finishes, while Aleeya Rose Binti Norazri, Tang Zi Qian, and Cayden How Xuan Hee each earned Bronze medals to round out a strong group showing.
Across both zones, the MAS/MILO All-Stars Swimming Circuit Leg 2, 2026 was a resounding success for DSA Swimming Club. 113 medals, 259 swimmers, and performances of genuine quality from every age group and category — it is exactly the kind of showing that makes the entire DSA community proud.
