The 3rd MILO-KL Klasik Invitational Swimming Championships 2026 was held from 30th May to 1st June 2026 at the National Aquatic Centre, Bukit Jalil, drawing together 975 swimmers from across the country for three days of fierce and festive competition. DSA Swimming Club rose magnificently to the occasion across both the State and Novice amassing a combined total of 85 medals which included 36 Golds.  The Club swimmers gave a remarkable performance making their presence felt in every age group from the youngest Group 5 competitors all the way through to Group 1.

State Category

In the State category, DSA claimed 49 medals with 18 Golds and the standout performers were nothing short of exceptional.

In Group 5, Kyle Chan Kai Jie was the undisputed star of the Meet for DSA Swim Club, winning a breathtaking 6 Golds to sweep every event he participated.

The Group 4 State swimmers had Yui Hirano who was outstanding in the Girls category, claiming 4 Golds, while Kayden Chan Kai De won 2 Golds and Aiden Zarief won 1 Gold each in the Boys events, making it a golden day for DSA’s young swimmers in that age group. Aaron Daniel Ahmad Faizal also represented the group well with Bronze medal finishes.

In Group 3, Lee Kenyi, Maya Gzik and Rebecca Chung Hui Wen all earned podium finishes in the Girls 12-13 events, with multiple Silvers and Bronzes to their names. Among the boys, Lee Kenyi made his mark with a Silver in the Freestyle.

The Group 2 State category was headlined by a truly magnificent performance from Aylah Wang, who stormed to an astonishing 5 Golds across the Girls 14-15 Freestyle, Butterfly and IM events another of the finest individual performances of the entire meet. Lee Chi Ning added more Silver medal finishes, while Victoria Jun-Lin Tan and Khaeyr Adrian contributed Bronze medals to round out a superb group effort.

Novice Category

The Novice category swimmers brought home 21 medals which included 8 Golds, 10 Silvers and 3 Bronzes and produced some of the most finishes of the Meet as the younger and less experienced swimmers stepped up to deliver performances well beyond expectations.

In Group 5, Amelda Wong Zi Qian won 1 Gold in the Girls 50m Butterfly, while Olga Gzik, Selina Yue ZiMeng and Aryan Arjuna Mohd Khairul Azli all earned Silver and Bronze medals for the Club. Zhu YinLai from Group 4 added 2 Silvers to the team tally.

The Group 3 Novice Boys were the powerhouse of this category. Decan Chan Ze Ken was brilliant, winning 2 Golds in the Boys 100m and 50m Freestyle event. Adam Amir Fazly matched that tally with 1 Gold of his own, and Yam Ee Ren added another Gold in the 100m Breaststroke event. Among the Novice Girls, Kaylee Leong Zhi Ching won 1 Gold in the 200m IM event adding to the high scores for the Group.

In Group 2, Alex Shulzhenko took home 1 Gold in the Boys 14-15 50m Breaststroke, with Dexter Kam Yuan Zi won Silver in the same event. Among the Novice Group 1 swimmers, Hor Xinni was the Gold winner with 1 Gold in the Girls 50m Breaststroke. Chew Juno, Ian Kew Ming Jun and Sheena Wong Yun Ting all contributed additional podium finishes.

Relay Events

The Relay events were perhaps the most thrilling of the meet, with DSA teams delivering 15 Relay medals which included 10 Golds.

The Group 1 Boys team of Ian Kew Ming Jun, Ahmad Halfy, Ignatius Bryant Pandoyo and Chew Juno were simply dominant, sweeping Gold in both the 4x50m and 4x100m Freestyle Relays.

The Group 2 Girls relay team of Lee Chi Ning, Victoria Jun-Lin Tan, Aylah Wang and Ellie Chang Chi Lam were equally impressive, winning Gold 3 events making it a triple Gold for DSA.

The Group 3 Boys team of Chan Hann Cxei, Adam Amir Fazly, Tang Jayden and Decan Chan Ze Ken and the Girls team of Kaylee Leong Zhi Ching, Maya Gzik, Rebecca Chung Hui Wen and teammates each striking multiple relay Golds. Further Silver and Bronze relay medals came from the Group 4 and additional Group 1 and Group 2 relay teams, rounding out an exceptional collective performance.
