DSA Penang makes its mark in the North


31 Medals for DSA at All-Stars Meet in Penang

MILO All-Stars NR Leg 1 2026

The MAS/MILO All-Stars Swimming Circuit Leg 1 for the Northern Region took place from 16th to 17th May 2026 at the Pusat Akuatik Tuanku Zara, Ipoh, Perak. Despite fielding a lean contingent of just 15 swimmers, DSA Swimming Club returned home with an impressive haul of 31 medals which included 6 Golds. It was a performance that spoke volumes about the competitive quality within the squad, and a reminder that DSA’s reach extends strongly into the Northern Region circuit.

In Group 1, DSA’s finest moment came from Lee Ruo Faye, who won a Gold in the Girls 200m Backstroke event. Other Group 1 swimmers Gareth Goh, Muhammad Danish Haziq Bin Mohd Hairul Nizam and Hoo Jean Yee all added valuable medals to the team’s tally.

Muhammad Imran Bin Mohd Ikmal from Group 2 won 2 Golds in his events with smashing performances while Goh Hao Wei added to the effort admirably, winning additional medals to give DSA strong podium representation throughout the group.

Boaz Tan Dan from Group 3 added one Gold in the Boys 50m Freestyle while Chin Xin Le rounded out the group’s contribution with a Bronze medal finish in the Girls section.

The Group 4 swimmers rounded off DSA’s campaign in remarkable fashion. Lim Eu Ning was simply outstanding sweeping 2 Golds in the 100m Breaststroke and 50m Breaststroke. She went on to collect an extraordinary 6 Silvers and a Bronze across multiple events, demonstrating a truly exceptional young talent and an upcoming champion for the future. Ngin Jia Yik also contributed a Bronze in the Boys section to complete a solid group performance.

With only 15 swimmers in the team for DSA Penang, a return of 31 medals is a testament to the depth of quality that runs through the DSA programs and competitive training. DSA Swimming Club can look back with great pride and this magnificent performance to motivate themselves for even more heights in the future.
