3 Meet Records and 7 Medals at the 2nd Johor Closed Swimming Meet 2026
On 13th and 14th June 2026, a focused DSA Johor’s 25 swimmers travelled to the Educity Sport Complex to compete at the 2nd Johor Closed Swimming Meet 2026. Against strong local competition at this closed-state championship, the team demonstrated tremendous composure and competitive spirit, returning home with 7 medals which included 3 Golds and an impressive 3 Meet Records to their name. A truly commendable showing on what is always a demanding stage.
The star of the meet was undoubtedly Nouril Ammiesya Binti Mohd Khairul Nizam of Group 2 Girls, who delivered a simply extraordinary all-round performance across five events. She claimed a superb 3 Golds, headlined by 2 Meet Records in the 100m Breaststroke and 50m Freestyle events, two outstanding benchmark-breaking swims that will stand as a testament to her remarkable form. She rounded off her meet with Silver finishes in both the 50m Breaststroke and Butterfly events. A five-event haul that was nothing short of breathtaking.
In Group 3 Boys, Chua Jun Yu put in a gutsy and determined performance, earning a well-deserved Silver, while in Group 4, Woo Soon Xiang Christon capped off the club’s medal haul in style, breaking a Meet Record in the 50m Freestyle on his way to a Bronze finish.
The 2nd Johor Closed Swimming Meet 2026 was a proud outing for DSA Swimming Club and we are immensely proud of every one of our athletes who took to the pool in Johor. Full results are available for download from the links below.
