The new team of DSA specifically in the Johor area, the DSAJ Swimming Club had their first competitive exposure during the second weekend of January. The team of just 6 young swimmers put their skills to test as they participated in the Johor Age Group Swimming Championships held at the Educity Sports Complex, Persatuan Renang Amatur Johor (PRAJ) on 13-14 January 2023.
It was a good initiation for the young swimmers and they performed well at their events. The swimmers participating were all from the Learn to Swim Program at the DSA Johor Swim Centre in Bandar Dato Onn. Being the first time that the Swimming Team has been formed after opening the centre in 2019, it is indeed remarkable and very satisfying to see the progression of these young swimmers from non-swimmers to competitive swimmers. Congratulations to the team of swimmers and coaches who are the pioneers today and we will surely see much more from them in the years to come.
