The PASA State Age Group Swimming Championships 2026 was held from 9 to 11 January 2026 at the Relau Sports Complex, Relau, Penang. The competition was organised by the Penang Amateur Swimming Association (PASA) and was open to all clubs, schools, and organisations registered in Malaysia.
DSA Swimming Club Penang fielded a contingent of 42 swimmers at the championships. The team delivered a commendable performance, achieving an overall medal haul of 49 medals, including six gold medals.
Notable performances included Lim Eu Ning, who secured two gold medals in the Girls 10–11 years age group. In addition, the Mixed Relay team in the same age category achieved first place in the 200m Medley Relay, contributing another gold medal to the club’s tally.
Further medal-winning performances for DSA Swimming Club Penang were recorded by Gareth Goh, Garrel Lee Xuan, Gabriel Lee Jin, Bea Wen Juin, Ronan Cheong Hao Jin, Hoo Jean Yee, Jason Tan BoYun, Ngin Jia Yik, Jang Yu Yeong, Hor Xing Ern, Ong Jie Yu, and Hashini Nahganathan, all of whom contributed to the team’s overall success.
The championships provided valuable competitive experience for young swimmers and served as an important platform for athlete development, confidence building, and preparation for higher-level competitions.
