DSA Swimming Clubs add more Golds to their yearly Meets
The first Kuala Lumpur Klasik Invitational Friendly Swim Meet was held on 17-19 May 2024 at the National Aquatic Centre, Bukit Jalil.
The goal of the invitational friendly meet is to foster positive relationships among swim clubs in Malaysia, particularly those in the Klang Valley. KL Klasik offers an additional platform to encourage new swimmers to participate in competitive swimming and familiarize themselves with World Aquatics swimming rules. The Meet also helps to identify potential achievers from the grassroots level in Malaysia.
The Meet had 2 categories of swimmers; those who have represented their states in the preceding 2 years, either in National Age Group or MSSM were classified as State Swimmers, while those not belonging to the State teams were classified as Novice Swimmers.
