DSAS swimmers finish Runners up at Splash Meet
The first leg of the MAS/NSC/MILO Splash Swim Series was held at Pusat Akuatik Darul Ehsan, Shah Alam between 03-05 May 2024. A majority of the 211 swimmers from DSA and DSAS Swimming Clubs were mainly junior competitive swimmers having their initial exposures to such meets. Though this was the first big exposure for them, and they gave a good performance at their events. With a total of 371 points, DSAS secured the Runners Up position at the Meet which had 47 swimming clubs from all over Malaysia participating.
Little Wen Xin in the Girls 10-11 years group was at the forefront with 2 Golds and a Silver in her events while Chong En Ci, Aydan Chew Hwe Zhe and Jung Jiwoo won a Gold each. Other finishers in the top 3 included Simone Madeleine Azlir, Yap Zhen Yi, Ng Wen Hann, Ng Yean Hsu, Jamie Chee Zhia Xin, Lee Xin Tung, Ruelle Tan Ru Zac and Nigel Lee Tzi Yue. The outstanding performance of these young junior swimmers are truly remarkable and a source of great pride. We also extend congratulations to the parents of the club members and the dedicated team coaches who have been instrumental in guiding these talented youngsters. Their hard work and support have played a crucial role in shaping this success.
